All companies must identify their own values. A company’s values should guide the decision-making and the behaviour of all team members over the life of the company. However, we often meet companies who, once their values have been identified, never apply them, nor understand how they should guide their actions in day-to-day tasks and decisions.
That is the reason we have developed the Value Matrix. The purpose of this matrix is to define the desired behaviours associated with each value in four key situations.
- Customer relations
- Employee relations
- Project management
The matrix, at the core of a company’s corporate culture guide, acts as a tool that matches the often-abstract values to real life behaviour, in business life context. The tool serves as a guide in situations of crisis or in business decisions management.
We create a detailed and adapted version of the Matrix for each employee, supplier, partner, customer, and project to help measure culture performance. This exercise serves as a tool to motivate, improve, and analyze projects.
The value matrix in its full expression can be applied to every project, activities, member, and ecosystem component.
